Thank You!!!!

To all Alumni Volunteers,

Thank you to all our Alumni Volunteers for helping support CPAAAS, The Police Dept., The Village of Schaumburg and Septemberfest, this Labor Day weekend.

Just like Septemberfest,  CPAAAS works only because people like you give your time, energy and expertise to volunteer. So thank you to each and everyone of you who volunteered in the tent and the command center and marched in the parade.

Despite a rocky start on Saturday with the weather, and a stormy Sunday night( A Septemberfest First) I hope that you all had fun this weekend.

And I also know that many of you also volunteered directly for the fest itself, so thank you as well for your time and energy, especially on Sunday night during the storm. We could not have done the fest without all of your help and support.

See you all on Monday September 9, 2013 at 6:30

National Night Out Tuesday August 6 from about 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Alumni,

This is a follow up to our general meeting on Monday July 8, 2013.

Paula Diaz The Schaumburg Police Dept. Crime Specialist was kind enough to give us an overview of our Volunteer duties for National Night Out.

We have 10 people signed up to volunteer and are still looking for at least 8 to 10 more volunteers. If you think you can help us out on Tuesday August 6 from about 5:30 Pm to 10:00 Pm we would love to have you join us.

For new members or anyone  who isn't familiar with what National Night Out is all about, here you go.

National Night Out- Tuesday August 6, 2013

The Village of Schaumburg is proud to announce its participation in the 3th Annual National Night Out (NNO) sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. (NATW)

Neighborhood Watch Groups, Homeowners Associations and interested Neighborhood Groups are encouraged to participate in this exciting event by hosting a block party in their neighborhood. Neighborhood Watch is an important program designed to make our neighborhoods safer through community residents working together.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to meet your neighbors, make new friends, and develop a partnership between the community and the Schaumburg Police department to prevent crime.

Schaumburg dignitaries and Police officials will be visiting block parties. Participants may also receive a visit from the police motorcycle patrol, the village and police bike safety patrol, a Crash Dummy and Mc Gruff as well as a fire truck.

This is a fun night for us as CPAAAS members and we encourage you to sign up and help us out.

Please email me, any board member or send an email to the Yahoo account or  feel free to call me if you are interested in helping us out.

Thank you to all our members who have given generously of their time and talent this past year.
