We hope you are having a very enjoyable summer.
In a few weeks it will be August and that means National Night Out, one of the Police Dept and CPAAA'S larger events.
We could really use your help. The event is on Tuesday August 4, 2015 from about 5:30/6:00 to 9:00 PM at night.
For those of you who have volunteered in the past you know what a fun event this can be.
Please consider volunteering and helping us out again this year. If you have not helped at this event we are hoping you will consider doing so this year.
Please contact us at email@example.com as soon as possible so we can get a count of how many volunteers we will have. We are in need of drivers, photo takers and helpers at each neighborhood event.
If you are unsure about helping then please plan on attending Mondays general membership meeting July 13, 2015 at 7:00 PM. Crime Prevention Specialist Ms. Paula Diaz will be speaking to us about National Night Out and we will be helping out at this event. You will be able to sign up on the spot.
Thank you for all your continued support.
I hope that you and all our Alumni Members are enjoying the spring weather. Our June meeting is just one week away.
Our next schedule meeting is Monday June 8, 2015 at 7:00 PM.
This is one meeting you wont want to miss. Our guest speaker for the evening is retired Lt. Dennis Carroll formerly with the Schaumburg Police Dept.
Since his retirement, Dennis has been on the board of ILEETA, writes articles for Illinois Cop magazine and is a representative for Sig Sauer, the weapon of choice for most Police Officers.
Dennis has kindly agreed to speak to us about his time with the SPD, his role with ILEETA and will be showing us some of the latest weapons offered by Sig Sauer.
We hope that you will all be able to attend this meeting. All Alumni members are welcome to attend, however, non dues paying members will be asked to pay a nominal $3.00 meeting fee for this particular meeting. We of course will accept payment for dues from any Alumni member wishing to pay their dues at the meeting.
See you all on Monday
