This is a reminder that March's General Meeting is Tuesday March 8th at 7pm.
The 2016 ILEETA conference is right around the corner and its not too late to come out and volunteer for this Law Enforcement Event.
The Conference runs from Saturday March 12 to March 17, 2016 and will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Rosemont IL.
We are looking for Volunteers to help pack bags on Saturday March 12 from 12 noon to 5:00 PM ( Lunch is served) and Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, two shifts a day or whatever time you might be able to help to do a variety of duties.
If you have already signed up there is no need to respond to this email, however if you want to help you need to let us know ASAP. The deadline for signup is this Tuesday March 1. We need to send them a list of names so badges can be printed in advance.
This is great event and may be our last opportunity for a few years to help out so let us know.
Just want to alert you to the change in our March Meeting. It will be on TUESDAY March 8, 2016 at 7:00 PM. The change is due to our commitment to the ILEETA convention the week of March 12.
Hope to see you on the 8th. We will be holding nominations for Volunteer of the Year and also Board positions for 2016/2017.
We will also be talking about all the April and May events that we have coming up as well as the new CPA class and the ILEETA conference, so please plan on attending.
Once again this year, CPAAAS has been asked to provide volunteers for the upcoming ILEETA Conference 2016.
For those of you who dont know what ILEETA stands for, its the Midwest's largest conference for International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers.
CPAAAS has been providing volunteers for this event for almost ten years.
This years event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Rosemont from Saturday March 12 to Saturday March 19, 2016.
Saturday March 12, we need help from 2:00 PM to about 5:00 PM to help pack goodie bags for the attendees.Pizza is served to all who help out.
Starting on Sunday March 13 to Thursday March 17, we need Volunteers for two shifts to help with registration and act as guides for the officers in helping them get around to respective classes in the hotel.
Hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day but we will be splitting the day into two shifts each day unless someone wants to help all day.
ILEETA will cover the parking at the hotel so volunteers dont have to worry about being charged..
This is a great event and ILEETA has been a big supporter of CPAAAS in so much as they have generously contributed to our Adopt A Family program each year.
