General Membership Meeting Oct 10, 2016

Please be aware that Monday meeting will be held in the Classroom downstairs, not in the Community Room. The elevator will be available to anyone who needs assistance.

We will be serving pizza at about 6:15 to 6:45 PM and the meeting will start promptly at 7:00 PM so please plan on getting their a little earlier then normal if at all possible.

We have a really great guest speaker lined up for Monday night, while you have to show up to find out who it is, I guarantee you that this person is a true American hero in every sense of the word. His presentation will be moving and compelling.

See you all there.

The drawing was held at Septemberfest on Labor Day and Miss. Septemberfest and her court were gracious enough to pull the winning tickets.

Third place went to our very own CPAAAS member Joyce Annable who won $100, Jim Letterer another CPAAAS member won second place and $200 and Terri Coleman who won $500 was our first place winner. Barbra Jackson sold the winning ticket to Terri.

Once again thank you to all our members who made this fundraiser such a success.

Volunteers Needed

The Police Dept has asked CPAAAS for volunteers to help out at the following events.

The first event is on Saturday September 17, 2016 from 11 to 3 PM at the Old Navy store on Golf Rd. in Schaumburg.

We need 3 to 4 members who can attend and help pass out badges, stickers and crime prevention material. No buttons will be made this day.

The second event is the weekend of September 24 and 25 at the Sears Store in Woodfield for National Safety Week. Those of you who helped out at this event in the past may remember that Sears donated all the left over aprons and safety glasses to CPAAAS. The hours would be 11 to 3 PM, We are looking at doing just one day this year rather then two.

If you can help out at either or both events please let us know ASAP.

Thank you
