Adopt A Family

The Holiday Season is once again upon us and for most of us this is a time of joy and cheer and spending time with family and friends.

As many of you may remember The Schaumburg Police Department in conjunction with CPAAAS held an annual holiday event called ”Shop With A Cop". This program was started in an effort to purchase Christmas Presents for needy Families throughout our community.

While the "Shop With A Cop" program was stopped a few years ago, CPAAAS has continued the tradition of purchasing presents for needy families through the Schaumburg Township under the “Adopt A Family" program.

Once again year is no exception, CPAAAS will be purchasing clothing and toys for as many needy families as our budget will allow.

We however could really use your help in making this years “Adopt A Family" program a success. Last year our members generously donated over $400. This year our goal is $500.

We are asking that each of our alumni members donate at least $5.00 to this worthwhile cause. Of course you are welcome to donate more and any donation that you can provide will gladly be accepted. Wont you please be generous with you donations and help us purchase toys and clothes for the less fortunate this Christmas Holiday.

Please send your charitable contribution donation as soon as possible to; (Our deadline this year is December 1, 2014)

CPAAAS
PO BOX 681003
Schaumburg, IL 60168

You may also drop off your donation in an envelope marked CPAAAS at the Schaumburg Police Station, or feel free to bring it to our next meeting on Monday November 10, 2014.

Our membership has generously given unselfishly of their time this past year at so many events and we can all say with pride that once again this has been one of the most successful years CPAAAS has enjoyed. Let’s continue that success by helping others this holiday season.

Please help us find the true meaning of Christmas by helping our "Adopt A Families" make this a Christmas to remember.

Thank you for your support.

General Membership Meeting

The next general membership meeting will be on TUESDAY OCTOBER 14, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Community Room at the Schaumburg Police station. Please note the day change from Monday to Tuesday for this month only.

I am pleased to announce that our guest speaker for the evening will be Officer Aumir Miranda Trainer at the Police Academy. We have also invited the Director of the Police Training Academy to attend and speak to us as well.

We are all excited to both the director and Officer Miranda speak to us about the new training officers are going through in the ever changing world of law enforcement.

Please also note that due to intense Police training during the month of October, the open range night for CPAAAS has been changed to the November meeting.

The meeting minutes and agenda will be sent out later next week.

See you all at the meeting.
