Greetings CPAAAS Members:
-Please mark your new 2007 home calendars to show the following CPAAAS General Meeting dates:
April 26, June 28, August 23 and October 25. The November/December dates will be announced later this year.
Also, Fuddruckers continues to be the first Tuesday of the month and the open board meeting the 2nd Monday of the month.

-Three CPAAAS board position are up for election this April.
Ron Richey (treasurer),
Maureen Gilhooy (recording secretary),
Jim Novotny (president) will be running for office again.

The next social gathering will be at Fuddruckers on Golf Road on Tuesday, April 3rd at 6:15 p.m.
I will be out of town . I have provided John Mydlack with the CPAAAS Benefit Night paper slips.

The next Open Board Meeting will be on April, 9th at 7 p.m.

The 2007 ILEETA Conference Expo will be held this year at the Westin Chicago North Shore in Wheeling, Illinois.
The expo will be April 17-21 and Lt. Carroll is hoping for a substantive CPAAAS presence.
I have mailed/emailed you a copy of the schedule and where the needs are as defined by Paula Emerson of the police department.
Please call her and indicate when and how you can help.

Lt. Carroll will no longer be operating the Citizens Police Academy.
He had been assigned to the watch commander of the midnight shift.
Sgt. John Nebl has begun his work as Dennis’ replacement.
Lt. Carroll, as you know, has served CPA coordinator for many years and had done an excellent job.
Many thanks to Lt. Carroll for his service to CPAAAS.

George Dunham, CPAAAS member, village trustee, and chair of the Public Safety Committee has agreed to serve as our speaker at the March 22nd General Meeting.
George has many evening commitments and thus it is a real treat to have him give up some of his time for us.

As of today (2-19-07), 78% of the CPAAAS 2006 dues paying members have rejoined as 2007 dues paying members.
