2002 News Archive Carson's Community Day and SPD Open House (posted 3/6/2002) The third annual Schaumburg Police Department Open House took place on March 2nd despite all the snow. We had about 200 people show up compared to 700 last year. The tours took a little longer because there was MORE stuff to see. Poor Cliff worked early that morning and he pretty much relaxed in the garage as the kids arrived to pet him. See the open house pictures. The Carsons' Community Day Sale also took place on March 2nd. Citizen Police Academy report on ABC 7 (posted 3/6/2002) The Citizen Police Academy piece was broadcast on 2/18/2002 on ABC News at 10pm.
